an environmentally conscious approach to wine production.

PACKAGING

To reduce carbon emissions during manufacturing and transportation,

our wine bottles are as light as possible.
 

Our Stefanago wine labels contain up to 50% natural dried grass fibers,

reducing water consumption and carbon emissions during production.

ENERGY SOURCES

The winery's electricity consumption is fully covered by our solar energy system.

AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES

In our farming system, we do not use synthetic pesticides or herbicides.
We are a certified organic winery.

 

At Stefanago, natural woods, meadows, and vineyards

are equally distributed to balance agriculture and biodiversity.
 

80 families of bees live at Stefanago, producing wildflower honey.

WATER MANAGEMENT

 

All roofs in Stefanago harvest rain water, while runoff from roads,

hillsides and small streams is stored in ponds at the bottom of the valleys.
